Complaints Procedure 

We hope you never have the need to make a complaint against one of our staff members or the standard of care you or your pet has received at any of our surgeries. However, if there is something which you are not happy about, we would encourage you to let us know, so that we can take the appropriate action.

Complaints Procedure

Please direct your comments in writing to Mr Jürgen Theinert (practice principal) or Mr Stephen Bardwell (practice manager). Your complaint will be investigated and you will receive a written response. Hopefully we should be able to fully answer and resolve your complaint.

If you are unhappy with our response, then the final option is to write a letter of complaint to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons is the governing body for veterinary surgeons. They will investigate complaints thoroughly and respond accordingly. Their address is:

Edgewood Veterinary Group wants all our patients and clients to be happy with the level of service they have received. Any criticism of our standards will be used to improve our systems to attain this goal.

We will not tolerate any aggressive or abusive behaviour at any time towards our staff. Any client behaving in such a manner will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will then be notified in writing that they must find alternative veterinary care for their pet(s).
